Amsterdam Impressionism – sometimes referred to by art historians as the School of Allebé – was the counterflow to the very strong Hague School in the movement of Dutch Impressionism. \nAs a professor at the Royal Academy of Amsterdam he fostered a cosmopolitan attitude tow
